Volunteers of America Texas

Healthy habits equals healthy heart, so let's get the blood flowing. Bretton Village is an affordable housing program for low-income seniors. We are looking for a fun and experienced low impact Exercise Leader to guide our seniors in a sequence of exercises such as yoga, dancing, aerobics, martial arts (Tai Chi), walks, chair workout, and etc. Volunteering in this capacity will improve the overall quality of life for our residents.

This is a good opportunity for you to interact with our seniors in a fun and energetic atmosphere. As a volunteer you will lead our seniors in a low impact exercise, and give tips on healthy nutritions and dieting. You will lead a session at least once a month, and it should be no more than an hour long for at least three months. You are welcome to use instructional videos tailored to the elderly. So come let's get the blood flowing.
