Start your morning by collecting donations for Northwest Harvest at a Top Pot location for National Doughnut Day! Volunteers will be collecting donations from Top Pot customers, sharing about Northwest Harvest, and helping donors fill out raffle tickets.
The event is at sixteen Top Pot locations all around the area. The only cafe still in need of volunteers is at the Renton Landing cafe.
Two to three volunteers needed for the 6am - 8am shift.
Volunteers will mostly be outside holding buckets and signs but may work at the table inside the cafe for a bit of time.
To receive more info about volunteering or to sign up for a shift, please reply to this post or email jenniferc@northwestharvest.org.
Each Top Pot store will also be selling $10 raffle tickets with ten fabulous prizes including two Alaska Air ticketc, passes to Bumpershoot, a premium gift basket from Seattle Chocolates, restaurant gift certificates, and more! There will also be a second raffle where donors can win doughnuts every month for a year!
All National Doughnut Day donations and proceeds from the raffle support Northwest Harvest's network of more than 380 food banks, meal programs and high need schools in Washington state, and will help us continue to provide more than 2 million meals per month.
Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian volunteer alongside them. Northwest Harvest can sign off on service hours for school or work purposes, but cannot provide any court-related hours.
