Helen and girls

Be a leader to children for the 5-day X-treme HorsePower Day Camp program to help them learn to handle and ride a horse or pony. We emphasize relationship-building, so you must be comfortable conversing with kids of different ages and backgrounds. Assist with crafts and activities such as boating, fishing, and outdoor games. This is a Christian faith-based program of personal growth and learning. Knowledge of horse care, behavior, and tack is helpful. Willingness and ability to participate in physical activity/work is necessary. Please provide your telephone number in your contact information.

Description

Heavenward Farm and Horsemanship provides individual, family and group programs that are therapeutic. Our Vision is to be a haven of hope and healing in which youth and adults experience personal growth through relationship with horses and the Creator in a peaceful, natural setting. We have weekday therapy (HAPPENINGS) and weekend groups of at-risk and inner-city children and youth, X-treme Horsepower.
We serve military Veterans, foster and adoptive families, and do community outreach events.
