Hello,
We would like to offer senior citizens in the East Los Angeles area a form of social interactions by providing mucial instrument lessons 1 to 2 times a week. The population we serve is 98% Hispanic and music is a part of Hispanic culture. Socially, this would allow seniors that are at home to come out and engage in activities at the center in order to avoid depression, isolation, and stress. We have found out that a lot of senior citizens live alone and the only family they have is the community. Please reach out if you are interested in DONATING some of your time for our elderly residents in the community.
Thank you.
