Resolutions Hospice is looking for volunteers who are interested in visiting with our terminally ill patients. Our patients become lonely and isolated because they are no longer able to go out into the community. Our goal is to bring community to them!
We are currently looking for some to perform a weekly church service at a facility in Cedar Park, preferably on Sunday, but the day can be flexible. Volunteers to NOT have to be ministers. Just caring individuals who can Sing hymns, read the bible and fellowship with the patients. The ability to play music or sing is a plus but is not required.
Volunteering with hospice is rewarding, flexible and easy!
Rewarding - If you can give an hour of your time either once a week or every other week, you can change the quality of someone's life. It is just that simple.
Flexible - We provide the training (our orientation takes only 90 minutes), a care kit with any supplies you may use when volunteering and match you with patient's close to your location. We can work with almost any schedule!
Easy - NO experience is needed! Just kindness, compassion and an interest in people.
