Volunteers Needed

At Abode Hospice, our goal is to enhance the quality of life for patients who are experiencing life-limiting illness. We are seeking volunteers who would like to provide companionship to our patients. As a volunteer with hospice, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team that provides care for the patient and the patient's family. Volunteer activities include playing cards, having a conversation, assisting a patient with creating a life narrative, as well as providing patient caregivers respite. We will provide you with training, and we will work with your schedule. Volunteers and patients alike find the relationship that results from this connection to be very meaningful. Please join our team today as a volunteer and make a difference in patients' lives.
