We have many needs for our horse program support. One is to help with cleaning stalls Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings during the school year. During school breaks, we need people to help with day camps for kids 3-6 days per week. People are needed to help repair and maintain tack. It would be wonderful if we could get a farrier or two that is willing to donate some trims or shoeing now and again, we have 20 animals to keep up with. In addition, the buildings, fencing, and grounds always need maintenance. Really, there are too many opportunities to describe here. Come for a tour and see what you can connect with!
A note on training - we train you to handle the horses our way and no horse experience is necessary. We also offer riding lessons for volunteers on our horses three days per week.
