Are you available during week days, week-ends? Would you enjoy being a DEPENDABLE friend who visits hospice patients? Are you able to commit six months to volunteer?
THEN WE NEED YOU!
Most hospice volunteers feel personally rewarded through their offering of time, energy and compassion when they see how much they are able to help patients and families.
Patient/family support includes dependable and dedicated companionship to the patient. Our patients can live in their own homes, nursing facilites, or assisted living facilities. Patient volunteers provide relief for caregivers by making friendly visits, listening to patients tell their story, writing letters, reading to patients, light housekeeping, running errands, or preparing a favorite meal or dessert.
You could be a ray of sunshine for a hospice patient and their family!!!!!
We have patients in need of a volunteer in South Austin and all surrounding areas.
Please click the "I want to help" button for more information or call us at (512) 246-7127, ask for Jarrid.
