Anyone looking for a great opportunity to help volunteer your time in North County San Diego, while providing an importance into someone’s life through hospice, this is a great opportunity for you.
you get to stay local, while you provide many different forms of assistance with patients that include comfort measures, supportive care by reading and writing with the patients, talking to them by being a companion, ect.
Also it is a great opportunity for medical students, along with anyone who wants to give back to those in need.

Description
Sonata Hospice Volunteers are trained to meet the needs of families and patients by providing companionship and short-term respite care. These volunteers are hand-selected and trained. Following reference and background checks, these individuals complete extensive training prior to working with patients. Volunteers make things easier by offering caregiver relief’, companionship, sharing of special interests, letter writing, reading to the patient or help with errands. We are always looking for quality volunteers. Please contact us to learn more about how you can help bring comfort to those in need.
