he Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home and support services for critically ill children and their families. RMHC of Richmond aims to help reduce stress and burdens for any families seeking medical treatment in Richmond.
RMHC of Richmond is looking for volunteers to participate in our Lunches with Love Program. Volunteers must purchase ingredients to prepare 30 cold meat and cheese sandwiches with a few items to go on the side that are appropriate for families to eat in the hospital. for our staff to take for families at the hospital. This helps to reduce stress for families who have a child receiving medical treatment and this allows families to be where they are needed most, by their child’s side.
Our Lunches for Love program is offered Sundays in the morning or afternoon and Tuesdays through Fridays at 9:00am for lunches to be prepared by 10:30 am. All food items must be prepared here in our kitchen, purchased from a store or made in a commercial kitchen.
Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by adults over 18. Please limit your group to no more than 8 individuals.

Mission Statement
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.
Description
It is the mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond to keep families close. RMHC Richmond may not be able to make the medicine taste better or erase the pain of a much-needed treatment, but we can help lessen the burden for thousands of families each and every year. Since we opened our doors in 1980, we have never closed them. We keep families together at our Ronald McDonald House and our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. By providing our families with a "home-away-from-home" and a place where they can rest and refresh, we help keep families close.
