Good Shepherd Hospice

Good Shepherd Hospice is looking for compassionate, kind, and devoted volunteers to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Hospice patients are receiving end-of-life care throughout Long Island. Volunteers serve as vital members of the team, providing support in patient’s homes, nursing homes and inpatient settings. Many of our patients are alert, active, and interested in socializing with volunteers, while other families request volunteers to be present with patients so that they can address their own needs outside of the home.

Most volunteers give 2-4 hours of time a week. We work diligently to tailor each role to suit the time and talents of each individual volunteer.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or would like more information please call 631-828-7611 or email pamela.brenner@chsli.org
