Here at AseraCare Hospice we are ready for YOU to join our team!!

Volunteers play a very strong role in our agency and provide a number of services to our patients and their families. Being a volunteer is very flexible and we would love to incorporate your skills into our program. Here are just a few ways to spend your time as a volunteer:

• Visiting with patients and their families
• Lending a listening ear
• Reading to patients
• Singing or playing an instrument
• Watching a movie or television show with a patient
• Going for a walk
• Baking and bringing baked goods to patients and their families
• Making phone calls to patients and families
• Writing letters to patients and families
• Offering bereavement support
• Assisting with clerical support for the staff
• Aiding hospice staff in public relations and community outreach
