Midwest Hospice is searching for dependable and caring individuals with a desire to enrich their lives and the lives of others to join our volunteer team. We understand that the term "Hospice" is sometimes very intimidating and misunderstood. But the process of providing support for end of life care for those who have reached this stage of their journey, can be a very worthwhile experience. Giving an individual on hospice an enjoyable experience during this time, can be as easy as providing companionship, playing a game, or reading a book. Perhaps you have a special skill or hobby that can be utilized to brighten someone's day like music, arts, or crafts. We offer opportunities volunteering with patient support, respite support, bereavement support, as well as administrative support for those who may feel more comfortable volunteering in an office setting.
