RSVP Oahu Volunteer Program

Make a difference and call us if you are 55 years old and above.

RSVP is a program that helps people-in-need: preschoolers, youth, young adults and seniors in Oahu.

RSVP has 41 volunteer stations you can choose from! Volunteer opportunities ranges from elder companionship, meal deliveries, telephone reassurance, giving rides, chores, and information assistance about Medicare and Medicaid. Reading to children, tutoring/mentoring, teaching how to use computers and Ipad phones, adult literacy and activities, Helper at Waikiki Aquarium, Kiosk assistant at the Kapalama Hale various volunteer positions at the American Red Cross, Senior Tax Relief Program, thrift shop assistants, and many more.

Make a Difference in Your Community!

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, day care centers, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
