The Fundraising Development Council (FDC) will oversee the development and implementation of Foundation for Second Chances (FFSC) Fundraising Plan. The FDC works year-round to form and maintain relationships with various organizations and businesses within our communities. The goal of the FDC is to raise funds and create streams of ongoing support to sustain FFSC’s various programs, services and expenses.
F&D Co-Chairs Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan that includes various activities, events, potential business and community partnerships, and sponsors.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and use these relationships to develop new business opportunities.
- Establish goals for soliciting funds, develop policies for collection and safeguarding of contributions, and coordinate disbursement of funds.
Develop and supervise the necessary sub-committees to successfully carry out fundraising events and activities that are part of the annual fundraising plan.
