Help Dolores live on a budget while providing her much-needed companionship. Dolores is 87-years young. She lives in south Austin and is waiting for a volunteer who can help her read her mail and sort her bills.
Dolores would also love to have someone who could share time with her while she enjoys her many hobbies such as sewing and keeping active.
Meet once or twice a month with Dolores at her home.
Training is provided. Flexible schedule.
By volunteering with Dolores, you help improve her quality of life and ensure that she can continue to live in her own home for as long as possible.

Description
Family Eldercare is a nonprofit agency that has been providing services to older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers in the Austin, Texas area since 1982. Programs and services include: housing and stability, in-home counseling, guardianship, virtual activities for isolated older adults, service coordination, and our annual summer fan drive.
