Do you enjoy reminiscing, chatting, playing games, or making people feel understood and appreciated? Or perhaps you have time to run an errand for a family in need, on occasion? Even if the trek is out of the Kalamazoo county immediate area?

Grace Hospice is actively seeking Volunteers to join our team!! We bring on Volunteers for one-on-one companionship with for our Patients, and or Caregiver Relief. Still interested? Perfect!

Our companionship and emotional support Volunteers enrich the lives of our Patients thru time spent together. A variety of activities are encouraged such as playing games, reading with or to your Patient Match, arts and crafts or simply holding their hand on a rough day...

Our Caregiver Relief Volunteers offer the same sense of comfort and Patient companionship however, during your visit, the Patient's caregiver is given the opportunity to step out of the home if needed. On occasion, in the Caregiver Relief role, you may also be asked to help with tasks such as picking up their prepaid groceries, etc. It goes without saying that having you in-home while a Caregiver tends to their personal needs, brings a sense of relief knowing there is a caring and watchful eye in their absence.

Volunteers are an important piece of the Grace Hospice puzzle, and an integral part of our team. Your efforts as a Volunteer are appreciated on every level because with Grace? You aren't "just volunteering." You are sharing your time, your compassion, and your heart.
