Help out with Silverado's Petals for Patient's Program on Mondays through Fridays.

We believe in the power of flowers, beauty and nature to heal the spirit and nourish the soul. We need volunteers to establish pick up and /or deliver times for fresh flower distribution. will provide you with list of our patients You will contact your local nursery, Home Depot, Lowes, Trader Joes, Safeway, Ace and/or any other you can google or know of to get arranged flowers or donated bouquets/plants to terminally ill hospice patients, many of whom have no family or friends. Our patients are located from East Palo Alto to Pacifica and San Francisco County. We will make sure to assign you someone near your preferred area of calls/delivery.

Delivery can be scheduled for anytime during the week but we do want to bring the freshest flowers to patients especially since donated flowers are recycled flowers. Delivery will be your choice of in person, at reception desk, or at front door. You choose! just let us know your preference!

This is a program that lost donations in the past and we would like to revamp again. This role can be anything you make it. Looks great on your resume as starting up a new program! We do not have any current covid positive patient's and you only see who you are comfortable seeing and working with.

Our goal is to show our patient's that someone is thinking of them at a difficult and often lonely time. We recycle flowers donated by various stores and gardens and create beautiful arrangements. Flowers are delivered to each patient.

Moniker Hospice honors the value of each life by empowering the patient and family to make supported choices in end-of-life care, enhancing comfort, relieving suffering and supporting effective grieving.

Moniker Hospice Bay Area is looking for the right person to volunteer with one of our hospice patients. The person that we are looking for is kind and patient and can spare an hour or two a week for between six months and a year. We will train you and support you through this journey and we will make every effort to match you with a patient where you get back from them as much as you are giving. We think people that are willing to volunteer are special and we do everything we can to provide you with a rewarding experience.
