Compassionate Companion Volunteers
The Purpose of the Compassionate Companion Program is to offer a compassionate presence at the bedside to patients and caregivers during the final 48 hours of life. Sign up to be available on an "on-call" status.
Grace Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals to provide support, information, and guidance for families to relieve their anxiety of the unknown. Your time and sharing of your special talents can make a meaningful difference for those who need you most.
We need volunteers to help with:

Description
Grace Hospice cares for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose to not seek aggressive medical care at the end stage of life. Hospice focuses on comfort care rather than curative care. The goal of hospice is for patients to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. Care can also be provided in a long-term care facility or an assisted living facility.
