We're looking for someone to help manage our community outreach to student users and organizations. The most current version of the role can be found here: https://enscholar.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/200389337
Did you ever have trouble choosing your career path during high school? Maybe you’re still searching.
We’ve all been there.
At enScholar, we believe that better work = better lives = better world, and that’s why we’re helping teens make better college and career decisions. As a non-profit tech startup, we’re building online tools to help teens learn more about themselves (enScholar.com) and build their resumes by exploring their career interests (try.enscholar.com).
With TryIt, we’re focussed on creating a global community where students discover, share, and engage with one another as they seek out their career paths. We’re in the early stages now, but are excited to expand internationally in the next few months.
We’re a team of 10 volunteers spread across 3 countries and we’re looking for reliable, dedicated volunteers to contribute to our mission. If you’re self-motivated, and have at least 6 hours per week to contribute, we want to meet you.

Time Commitment(Please specify on your application):
Half-time (20+ hours per week, minimum 4 months): You'll take on a real management role as part of our Core Team. You'll take responsibility for members of your group, building leadership capacity quickly by running meetings and training your group members (don't worry, we'll train you first).
Part-time (4-6 hours per week, minimum 2 months): You'll be contributing to your group on a weekly basis and be responsible for meeting the goals set by you and your group leader.
We typically have at least one hour-long, online team meeting each week that we highly recommend attending. Team meetings are an important time for us to talk about our overall direction, updates, and new TryIt features; it's also a great chance to connect all of the volunteers. If you are unable to make these meetings, please indicate it on your application form.

Description
enScholar is a startup non-profit empowering students to find meaningful careers. We believe that better careers = better lives = better world, and therefore our vision is for every student around the globe to have access to the best resources and opportunities to shape a brighter future. We’ve built two online platforms that are completely free for all students, parents, and teachers:
- The enScholar Learning Tools (https://enScholar.com) help students identify careers that are aligned with their interests, strengths, and values.
- TryIt (https://try.enscholar.com) is a community of students and teachers sharing and exploring the world's best STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, and Math) experiences and resources.
We currently focus entirely on building TryIt (https://try.enscholar.com) through content curation, outreach to schools, and forming content partnerships with other organizations within STEM Education.
Our volunteer team spans several countries, so if you’re excited about education, STEM, or tech startups, we’re always looking for bright minds to contribute in a variety of areas.
**Please note, we only accept applications submitted on our volunteer page: https://enscholar.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/200389337-Volunteer-With-Us
