Position Description:

The Kitchen assistant at the South Park Senior Center helps with all aspects of the meal program from meal prep, plating, as well as cleaning and kitchen maintenance.

Goals for this Position:

Assist in providing and serving homemade, nutritious meals to our Seniors as they dine with us in the Center.

Qualifications:

  • Covid shots (primary series and at least 1 booster shot are required)
  • Food handlers permit (SPSC will reimburse costs).
  • Willingness to serve a low income community with an ethnically diverse population.

Hours and Duration of Position:

This is an on-going opportunity. We are in the kitchen 3 days a week, M,W,F.

Supporting Seniors as they explore healthy and active lives! The South Park Senior Center activities include evening meals, EnhanceFitness exercise, cultural dance, Bingo & Loteria, Zumba, karaoke, and connecting with your community.
