Pathways to Compassion Hospice is a member of the We Honor Veteran's Campaign. Our hospice care team of professionals and volunteers strive to ensure that our veteran patients recieve special recognition and gratitude for their service to our country. We are looking for volunteers with former or current military experience to serve as volunteers for our very important veteran patients. As a part of honoring our veterans, we conduct a special individualized pinning ceremony. We present the veteran with a pin and a certificate from the Nebraska Hospice Veteran Partnership. We would like military volunteers to assist in these ceremonies as a veteran-to-veteran volunteer for patients receiving end-of-life care.
