Arcy Hospice
A Great Place to Volunteer

We're looking for friendly people to make hour-long visits once a week.

Hospice volunteers help add to the quality of a patient's time at the end of life's journey. Typical activities include - visiting, reading, listening to music and providing support to the patient's family. Visits to patients are made in their homes or elder-care facilities in the DFW metroplex. Although our office is in Flower Mound, we have patients all over the DFW area and need people to help in all areas. We especially need volunteers from Carrollton.

Recommended commitment level: one-hour visits each week, hopefully 3-4 visits per month. No special skills needed. Volunteers are matched to patients located near them.

Training takes about three hours and occurs in our office at 700 Parker Square Road in Flower Mound. The next training session will take place on Friday, February 16 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Most hospice volunteers find this work to be meaningful and rewarding. We have a robust volunteer program with plenty of support. We look forward to hearing from you!
