Public Relations, Marketing Assistants: Skilled Writers, Skilled Professional Needed
Individuals skilled at writing, promotion, journalism, media or community relations would find interesting opportunities volunteering at our Center.
Students who major in marketing, public relations, media, broadcasting, creative writing, public speaking or community outreach could build a porfolio helping us promote the services our Center offers seniors. College credits may be earned in conjunction with these opportunities.
Individuals skilled at community relations, communications, creative writing will find plenty of interested articles to write about our Center.

Mission Statement
The Life Enrichment Center at Oyster Bay is non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that provides comprehensive services for individuals 55+. Vital services includes social service support, lunch and transportation programs as well as social activities, fitness and wellness programs. 5 days a week 250 days a year!
Description
The Life Enrichment Center at Oyster Bay is a multi-purpose, non-profit community based organization providing a multitiude of programs and services to people ages 55+ living in Nassau County. They currently offer three comprehensive programs.
The Core Program offers social service support, lunch, transportation, routine medical screenings such as blood pressure checks by a nurse, a food shopping assistance bus, medical and dental transportation, recreation, socialization plus numerous health and wellness programs. There's something for everyone!
The Center's Day Break Social Adult Day Care Program offers therapeutic services to the frail elderly in a social model day care setting. They offer mind stimulating activities as well as exercise classes including tai chi, strength training and yoga as well as a caregiver support group. Our goal is to nurture lost confidence to the senior who is facing mental and physical challenges and to help them live life to the fullest.
After Hours is focused on providing the general community with evening fitness and social programs.
