Magic Night Planning Committee Volunteers Needed

Whether you’re an outgoing individual who loves talking to people or someone who’s well-connected in the community... UCP’s Magic Night Committee could be the place for you! We are looking for four to six additional committee members to assist with the planning and execution of this gala event, including: assistance with overall event planning and logistics, solicitation of donations for live and/or silent auctions, solicitation of sponsors and/or advertisers, follow-up with previous sponsors, pick-up auction donations, and assistance with marketing and promotion. Magic Night is UCP’s annual black-tie gala, featuring an enchanted evening of great food and drink, live music and dancing, and exciting live and silent auctions. The 30th annual event will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Hershey Country Club. Your expertise, energy, and ideas are eagerly sought to help us continue the magic and support life without limits for people with disabilities. Please consider joining our Magic Night Planning Committee. The Committee meets monthly from September through March. Committee members may expect to devote 2 - 4 hours per month to committee responsibilities; much of the work may be done via email or over the phone.
