Use your gifts to donate a birthday present for an elderly person living in assisted care. We need newly made blankets to give as birthday presents! Golden Packs of Hope provides blankets to senior citizens living in nursing homes to show them that they are valued and someone cared enough to make a blanket for them. Sew, knit, crochet, or tie a blanket and we will give it to them for their birthday. This is done on your own time and dropped off at our office when you are done.
Many senior citizens in nursing homes no longer have family or friends to come visit them anymore. We have partnered with 3 local nursing homes and give birthday presents to residents each month at a birthday party we host for them in the community room. Would you like to come to help us host? Email us for more information.
