Purpose
Teach seniors the benefits of expressing themselves through the art of creative writing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly lessons for seniors to learn about creative writing
- Prepare assignments for seniors to practice creative writing
- Communicate effectively and courteously with JASA seniors and staff
Skills
- Experience teaching creative writing
- Experience working with seniors is helpful, but not required
- Patience

- Class meets on Thursday afternoons
- Ongoing opportunity
- Maintain professional behavior at all times and adhere to JASA’s volunteer policies
