Norfolk County RSVP Volunteer Program is part of the national Senior Corps, sponsored locally by the Norfolk County Commissioners.

The South Shore Elder Services Meals on Wheels Program is committed to providing nutritious meals to homebound seniors and others with special disabilities. The program delivers over 1,200 nutritious meals to homebound elders each week (Mondays - Fridays). They have immediate volunteer opportunities in Randolph.

Volunteers are needed for mid-mornings to deliver meals to homebound seniors. Typically, 1-2 hours, one day per week. A valid MA driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required. Initial training is required, with additional enrichment opportunities offered. Mileage reimbursement is available.

Kitchen assistants are also needed from 8:00-9:30 AM to assemble food trays for delivery by the drivers.

COVID: South Shore Elder Services strictly follows CMC guidelines to help ensure its volunteers' safety.

Volunteer opportunities include mentoring pre-release inmates, tutoring elementary school children, drivers for Veterans, meals on wheels and food pantires, friendly visiting, non-profit support services and many more! N.C. RSVP will find the volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests & schedule and impacts the needs that are most critical to our county's communities. N.C. RSVP provides mileage reimbursement, accident & liability insurance, an invitation to our annual recognition event, monthly newsletters, orientation & training.
