We're looking for community driven professionals who will help with recruitment and some limited assistance to potential executive level leadership volunteers for StandUp For Kids program. If you're a member of a civic, philanthropic group, or possess excellent contacts in your community to find great volunteer leaders, we need your help! Our success, now in more than thirty cities nation-wide, depends on volunteer leadership broaden their knowledge. We've been helping kids on the streets for more than THIRTEEN years and we're now in fifteen states! We've been recognized by The White House three times and by a U.S. Supreme Court Justice. StandUp For Kids is committed to the help and rescue of homeless and street kids. We do this, every day, in cities across America. We carry out our mission through our volunteers who go to the streets in order to find, stabilize and otherwise help homeless and street kids improve their lives. We have been on the streets since January 1990 and continue to grow our organization to help America’s homeless youth.
Description
Whatever your skills or time commitment, we can use your help! StandUp For Kids has been recognized by the White House, the U.S. Justice Department, Governor's Office for Children, Secretary of State for Colorado, American Express, AT&T and USWest and has been awarded the JCPenney Golden Rule Award. We tell homeless and street kids that we care about them and then go to the streets and prove it!
