Title : Hiking Guide
Overview: Hikes are a great way for our guests to see the natural side of Los Angeles. Hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains is often an overlooked activity by visitors to LA, by leading hikes, we bring together our guests in a welcoming environment and expose them to some of the most beautiful areas of Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead a group of hostellers on a local area hiking tour.
Speak about specific points of interest.
Skills: A friendly attitude . Our clientele are young people curious to learn more about Los Angeles and the world. We need volunteers eager to help and share information and advice about our city. You must be in decent shape and good overall health. The normal hikes are not overly difficult but does require some physical exertion.
Minimum Commitment: We are currently looking for someone to run the hike each week on Sunday morning

We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start: from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
