Anyone with a genuine desire to help and time to share with others is encouraged to volunteer with CompassionCare Hospice. Hospice volunteers receive training which is done at the convenience of your own home.
As a volunteer you will be given a choice as to the capacity in which you would like to help. Patients assigned to you will be in your are of town. Typical volunteers duties include:
- Office and Clerical Support in our administration.
- Providing time for the caregiver to take care of him/herself.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to our patients
- Sharing a special talent or skill
