Deliver Meals-On-Wheels to Home-bound seniors
Did you know that just a few hours of your time, once or twice a week, can help seniors remain healthy and independent in their homes?
AREA
- San Clemente
VOLUNTEERS
- Are often the only contact our seniors see all day.
- Provide a warm smile and a caring attitude.
- Are a safety check to help ensure our participants are well.
- Our volunteers are the eyes and ears of Meals on Wheels and often alert us to clients who may have additional needs.
DELIVERY INFORMATION
- Commitment of a Minimum once or twice a week/a few hours a day
- Delivery time is approximately 10:30a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Choice of delivery days Monday through Friday
- Assigned routes close to home or businesses
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of insurance
- Use of personal vehicle
- Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
Just once or twice a week of your time will make a big difference in the lives of our seniors.
Business groups, individuals, families, and college students gladly welcomed to volunteer. Applications for back-up drivers to fill in as-needed are always accepted.

Mission Statement
The mission of Age Well Senior Services Inc. (AWSS) is "to provide resources for seniors to maintain their independence and quality of life." AWSS is a non profit, public benefit 501 (C)(3) organization located in Laguna Hills, California. Since 1975 we have been providing critical services, resources, and programs to the low income senior of South Orange County. Our community based services emphasize on a continuum of care and includes the following network of services: Home-delivered and Congregate meals, with Nutritional and Administrative staff, Case management; In-home support network; Transportation; and a Health and Wellness Program. We have an excellent track record of proven administrative policies and procedures, finance and accounting practices. .

Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back. It's also an avenue to be productive, share talents, expand your social contacts, and feel worthwhile by sharing your knowledge and expertise. Your volunteer efforts, whether big or small, make a tremendous difference to those you help.
