The Oregon Jewish Museum seeks a qualified intern to assist in the Archive department with work on a joint project with Portland State University to integrate the OJM collections into the PSU finding aid website. This internship will allow a student to participate in an exciting pilot program aimed at integrating the regions archival holdings and publicizing the unique materials contained within the OJM archive.
The OJM intern will work closely over a period of several months with archives professionals on varied projects to gain insight into the workings of the museum archive. Tasks include, but are not limited to: processing archival collections, data entry, digitizing photographic collections, and learning Archon a unified platform for archival description and access.
Internship can be extended depending on desire and performance.
