The Oregon Jewish Museum seeks a qualified intern to assist in the Collections and Exhibitions departments with work on upcoming exhibitions and ongoing collection acquisitions.
OJM interns work closely over a period of several months with museum professionals on varied collections and exhibitions projects to gain insight into the workings of the museum. Tasks include, but are not limited to: visual and newspaper research for exhibition development, reading and abstracting oral histories, cataloging new donations and loans, processing archival collections, data entry, digitizing photographic collections, gallery preparation, and artifact handling.
Internship can be extended depending on desire and performance.
