Volunteer camp counselors, lifeguards, medical personnel, social media, kitchen crew, and office helpers are needed to help staff this camp run by Christian Appalachian Project. No prior experience at camp is necessary -- just a desire to serve and a love of the outdoors and serving with children.
Volunteers must be 18 or older. Camp season is June and July. We accept volunteers for commitments of three weeks or longer. Applications are accepted throughout the summer. CAP provides room and board for all volunteers, and travel reimbursement is available for most volunteers. Volunteers committing at least six weeks may be eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award.
For more information or to request an application please call 606-256-0973, email us at volunteer@chrisapp.org, or visit our website at www.christianapp.org/volunteer.
