Over 55? Join RSVP to help children in the Rochester City School District as well as some suburban districts get off to a great start...spend time in a one-to-one relationship fostering good attitudes and enjoyment of the school environment.
Generation Two offers friendships that help close the generations gap. G2 brings together adults who support both each other and young children. Help children create and build positive relationships within the community through friendships with children, parents, educators and each other.
Volunteers through RSVP are eligible for free supplemental accident and liability insurance, and may be eligible for partial mileage reimbursement.

Description
AmeriCorps Seniors recruits and places volunteers over age 55 in activities that address critical community needs, eg. education, homeless, safety and security, health education, disaster preparedness,nutrition, hospice, health and wellness, and providing a better quality of life for others.
