Join a great team of volunteers and learn to prepare individual income tax forms and property tax and rent rebate forms for elderly and low-income individuals. Volunteers must successfully complete the FREE training to become certified tax preparation volunteers. You can volunteer Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Oil City from 9A-4P, Feb 3 through April 15 or Thursdays and Friday in Franklin from 8A-3P, Feb 5 through April 10. Most taxes are e-filed, so if you like working with numbers and filling out forms on the computer, this is the volunteer opportunity for you!

Description
The Senior Volunteer Program of Venango County provides opportunities for people age 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. SVP of Venango County volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to many hours a week, helping to make Venango County a great place to live!
