Santa Barbara Village's volunteers help seniors who are aging-in-place with daily living needs like grocery shopping, friendly visits, and light help around member's homes.
Volunteer drivers help members get to places they need to go when they can't or shouldn't drive thmselves. This is your opportunity to share your love and compassion for others who cannot get around town on their own!
In volunteering you play a key role in our community and our Village community by adding quality of life to the myriad of people who are aging in place.

Santa Barbara Village is a community-based membership organization focused on empowering older adults to live happily, healthfully, independently, and successfully in their own homes.
Description
Santa Barbara Village enhances the lives of people aged 50 and better in south Santa Barbara County neighborhoods (Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Carpinteria) by providing resources that address members' needs.
Santa Barbara Village helps enable older adults to remain in their homes (whether they own or rent) in the neighborhoods they love. Santa Barbara Village provides a support network of services, including rides, and provides social, educational, and cultural programs.
