Valley's Best Hospice is seeking Volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of those living with a terminal illness throughout Greater Los Angeles.
As a volunteer, you can help support patients and their families in a variety of ways. Most volunteers spend time with patients and their families doing the things they love. We'll match your skills and interests with those of our patient's, here are a few examples.
- Visiting with patients and their families
- Reading together
- Reminscing
- Running Errands
- Watching TV
- Playing music or singing
- Playing with their pets
- Helping around the house
- Caregiver relief
- Pet Therapy
- Music Therapy
- Flower Therapy
- Reiki Therapy
- Massage Therapy
- Aroma Therapy
- Color Therapy
Our volunteers are of all ages and all backgrounds, but they share one common goal: they want to help bring a little joy into someone's life. Full training is provided and we reimburse for mileage. Contact us to see how you can help.

Description
Valley's Best Hospice is a State Licensed, Medicare Certified, JCAHO Accredited Hospice agency serving the San Fernando, San Gabriel, and Santa Clarita areas of Los Angeles County.
Volunteers are a key component of the Hospice Team that provides care to terminally ill patients in their homes. Direct Care Volunteers assist in visiting, emotional support, and companioning. Office Volunteers support patient care by assisting with patient calls, bereavement, filing, mailings, and special projects.
Hospice Volunteers receive full training!!!

*It is recommended that Volunteers wait at least a year after a personal loss prior to Volunteering.
