Our Friendly Visitor Program prevents and alleviates the physical and mental health risks linked to isolation. This program benefits isolated older and disabled adults by addressing their basic, social, emotional, and environmental needs.
Our Friendly Visitor Volunteers provide companionship and emotional support 1-2 hours weekly. They share activities, hobbies, or just spend time with a client.
Friendly Visitors may also assist with some simple errands such as shopping, errand running, cooking, or light cleaning. Background screening required.

If you are interested in assisting seniors and adults with physical disabilities, and you have good listening skills, patience, ability to accept people as they are, caring and friendliness, reliability, and sense of humor, tolerant, this rewarding volunteer opportunity is right for you!
