Are you looking to improve the life of an isolated, elderly person in your communty? Would you like to form a meaningful relationship with someone in an older generation? Elders in the Kirkland/Bothell/Redmond area are looking for someone to visit with. ElderFriends is a program that matches lonely and isolated elders with volunteers for one-on-one visits. This is strictly a companionship program; chores and errands are not required but are optional. Training and on-going support are provided. There is a minimum commitment of at least two visits per month for one year.
