Community ministries once thought of as a Pilar of the Charles Town community that the residents could go to in times of need and be men with non judgmental support. They use to assist with homeless individuals and families in crises. They no longer provide these services . In fact there are no longer any organizations in the eastern panhandle that that honestly provide real reach out and support. Infact if homeless services are given to anyone due initiatives with the collation, they will claim to be providing families with certain benefits such as motel accomodation when they infact tell a family at Christmas suddenly they won’t help bc there are no funding all while the coalition isn’t housing listed families while under impression family not homeless.
