Mission Statement
The Casey Cares Foundation provides uplifting programs to critically ill children and their families. Through our programs, we work to lighten the burden of planning an evening out or a weekend away for families that are overwhelmed with an illness in the family. With our Family Festivities Program, we give families a night out on the town, the Birthday Blast Program surprises children with a special gift on their birthday, our Celebration Vacation Program supports families by giving them a weekend away together, and our Better Together Program encourages families who have lost a child to continue participation in our programs an additional year.
Description
The Casey Cares Foundation reaches out to critically ill children and their families by customizing uplifting and gratifying activities. It is the little pleasures in life that can make a big impact on families who must make everyday count.

It is an honor to volunteer at an organization that strives to bring cheer into the lives of such deserving children and their families.

As a Casey Cares volunteer for 8 years, I’ve seen the struggles parents face when their child is diagnosed with an illness. This organization gives them a way to deal with a very difficult journey. They provide amazing opportunities for the entire family and volunteering helps me feel a part of this process. The children are always their top priority.

Casey Cares is a great organization that helps children who are ill as well as their families. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available - from data entry and envelope stuffing work to helping with special fund-raising events. I'd definitely recommend volunteering with Casey Cares.

I am one of the Tuesday Night Data Divas. The staff really appreciates their volunteers and they are warm and friendly. This is a unique organization that makes such a difference in the lives of critically ill children.

This is one of the few organizations of it's kind that assist the entire family of a critically ill child and keeps on giving to the family even when a child passes away. My daughter's family was helped directly by Casey Cares while my grandaughter was ill and have been very kind and caring though this first year without her. I have begun some projects in my granddaughter's honor and am proud to say that Casey Cares has embraced them and made them a part of their organization to assist us once again by helping to build a legacy for her. All of the staff is wonderful, compassionate and makes every volunteer feel as though they are appreciated and making a difference.
