Adopt a Greyhound Atlanta, Inc. is a not for profit organization committed to providing for the welfare of greyhounds by maintaining a shelter for retired racers, rescued greyhounds or other sighthounds in need of shelter, providing for the care, feeding and medical treatment of rescued dogs and to educate the public on the issues of greyhound racing through lectures, public appearances, participation in community events and any and all other appropriate means.

Adopt a Greyhound provides care, feeding, shelter and love for retired racing greyhounds and other sighthounds. We also maintain a database of greyhounds so that we may provide a lost and found service, retrieve lost greyhounds and return them to their owners, maintain a web site with adoption information and activities, show greyhounds at local pet stores and other businesses, speak to interested groups and participate in community activities with the greyhounds.
