Mission Statement
(1) Provide emergency shelter, food, clothing, and referrals for additional assistance to persons who are homeless. (2) Prevent homelessness by providing immediate assistance and referrals to persons facing a housing crisis. (3) make the wider community aware of the plight of homeless people and advocate on their behalf.
Description
A warming center, daytime services center, and homeless shelter which provides emergency shelter, food, clothing and referrals for additional assistance to persons who are homeless, including health care, job training, job referrals, housing, substance abuse counseling, etc. We rely heavily for volunteers especially for our evening operations which are entirely run and managed by volunteers.
