Mission Statement

To encourage Asian Pacific Americans to enter the ranks of journalism, work for fair and accurate coverage of Asian Pacific Americans, and to increase the number of Asian Pacific American journalists and new managers in the media industry.

Description

AAJA has a membership of more than 2,000 and 19 chapters in cities across the country and in Asia. Programs, workshops, fellowships, internships, and an annual convention are offered to professional and student members.
