Mission Statement

Progressive Maryland is a grassroots organization of thousands of individual members plus some of the biggest unions, faith communities, and community groups in the state to advance a pro-working family political agenda.

Description

We have a dozen affiliates among community groups and labor unions, as well as thousands of dues-paying individual member families, and we are soon expanding statewide. As a membership-based organization, Progressive Maryland runs grassroots campaigns to elect endorsed candidates, and fights for living wage jobs, excellent public schools, public funding of campaigns, and tax fairness.
